We were honored to join Elevation Church–Matthews for their Women’s Spring Summit last Saturday for a morning filled with encouragement, connection, and inspiration.

It was truly a blessing to gather with our friends, volunteers, and supporters while sharing more about the volunteer opportunities and programs offered through Food for Families NC, Inc. spending time in God’s Word by making space in our daily lives to read, reflect, and truly study Scripture. Lynn encouraged us to slow down, be consistent, and allow God’s Word to guide our thoughts, decisions, and relationships. Her message was a meaningful reminder that when we prioritize time with Him, we are strengthened, renewed, and better equipped to serve others with love and purpose.

In addition to the inspiring sessions, we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship over lunch, connecting with both familiar faces and new friends. It was especially meaningful to see so many of our dedicated volunteers! These individuals faithfully give their time and heart to serve others. Moments like these remind us that we are part of something bigger, a community united in service and care.

We also had the opportunity to learn more about other incredible nonprofit organizations making a difference throughout our region. It was encouraging to see the many ways people are stepping up to meet needs, support families, and strengthen our communities.

The entire day was a beautiful reminder of how God moves through community, service, and shared purpose. We left feeling uplifted, grateful, and energized to continue the work ahead.

We are thankful to Elevation Church–Matthews for hosting such a meaningful event and for creating space where encouragement, faith, and service come together so powerfully.
